This printer works well, easy to setup, easy to use. The color printing quality is great, but don't expect great quality on photos. The only complaint is the Ink cartridges cost much more than the printer itself.

It was super easy for me to set up this printer. The color printing quality is excellent. The printing speed is also fast. The only problem is that you need space if you consider buying one. In addition to that, HP toner is always expensive.
HP LaserJet 1600 Laser Printer

HP always makes good products and the HP 1600 laserjet color printer does not dissapoint. The color is very nice and the black and white is pretty sharp. Furthermore, with 6 separate cartridges which accessible through single door, it will result in ink saving over time. Last but not least, this printer is very quiet, which is very nice bonus compared to many other laser printer in the market.
Simple Design Makes Life Easier!
Puntos Fuertes: Easy to assemble when out of box; easy to install or replace toner cartridges; paper jams are easy to fix; modest size and weight.
Puntos Débiles: Replacement toner cartridges are hideously expansive (over $320); doesn't work well with older software program like WordPerfect 6.1.
I had a Minolta Magicolor 2300W. In many ways, the Magicolor was a piece of junk: weight, size, incessant paper jams, excessive built-in drums and rollers. BIG printer that works very well
Puntos Fuertes: color quality, print speed (for home use), customer support, ease of setup and use
Puntos Débiles: cost per printed page (although that is true for almost every printer) and size (very tall) and size
There was a problem with the black cartridge that was delivered. One phone call to HP support isolated the problem and a new black cartridge was delivered the following day. Once the new cartridge arrived - the print has worked perfectly. Bright colors and crisp black - FAR superior to inkjet printing.

This printer is a good home office printer. It is great for making color presentations and does not take up too much space. The cost per page is not too bad either. Only thing that could be better is if it was faster and higher resolution for printing pictures.

This is a decent laser printer which produces high quality prints. The starter cartridge can use about 1000 pages. That's pretty good. Compared to other kinds of laser printers, its price is relatively low. It however is heavy about 42lbs and new ink cartridge is not cheap.
